Former County Mayor To Be Honored With Naming Of Claude Ramsey Parkway

A former county mayor will be honored with the naming of the Claude Ramsey Parkway.

Hickory Valley Road from 3000 to 8599 will bear the new name.

Mr. Ramsey was a leading figure in setting up the Enterprise South Industrial Park and bringing Volkswagen to Chattanooga.

He later served as deputy governor to Bill Haslam.
