Police said a man who was charged with carrying out a murder on Portland Street on Monday was involved in another shooting last Friday.
Jeremy Sutton was charged with criminal homicide in the slaying of Douglas Holmes.
Police said Sutton and Gordon Ray, 19, of 1515 Orchard Knob Ave., were involved in a shooting on Wilson Street.
On Friday, an officer was flagged down by two people on Wilson Street, who said they were driving when they saw two men standing by the side of the road.
They said the pair began firing at them. They drove two blocks, but the car then broke down due to gunshots that disabled it.
The shooters were identified as Sutton and Ray.
The victims said there had been an earlier fight with Ray's girlfriend, but they were not involved.
Sutton and Ray are charged with two counts of attempted second-degree murder in the shooting on Wilson Street.
