Byron Leroy Longacre
Byron Leroy Longacre, 83, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on June 3, 2019.
Byron was born on Oct. 3, 1935, to the late Francis and Margaret Longacre. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret “Margie” Crowder Longacre.
He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Fort Oglethorpe.
Byron was retired from industrial chemical sales. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved music, the old west and collecting guns.
Survivors include his children, Karen (Wayne) Aaron of Spring, Tx., Dan (Lisa) Longacre of Ooltewah, and Nancy (Mark) Holland of Lakesite, Tn., six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11, at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, at Lakewood Memorial Gardens South, 325 Greens Lake Road, Rossville, Ga. 30741 with Pastor Ryan Biese officiating.
