Marvin Davis, 51, Killed In Accident On Highway 58 Early Wednesday Morning

Marvin Davis, 51, was killed early Wednesday morning in an accident on Highway 58.

At approximately 3:07 a.m., the Chattanooga Police Traffic Division responded to 5000 Highway 58 on a single-vehicle traffic crash.
 
Mr. Davis was traveling north on Highway 58 when his Volvo left the roadway. The car traveled parallel along the roadside in the grass before striking a cement embankment. As a result, it rotated onto its roof and immediately became engulfed in fire.
 
Attempts were made to free the unconscious driver from the vehicle, but were unsuccessful due to damages the vehicle sustained during the crash.
