A man has identified a pair he said robbed him at a location on Willow Street where he had gone to sell a speaker box.

In the incident on April 13, the man said he negotiated a price with an individual he knew as "Squirrel" in an alley behind a residence. He said the man went to his vehicle to get the money.

He said another man sitting in the front passenger seat of the vehicle handed "Squirrel" a chrome wood grain pistol. He said "Squirrel" put the gun to his head while demanding his money and property.

He said he was struck in the side of the head with the gun when he hesitated. He said the man rifled through his pockets as he went in and out of consciousness. His phone and wallet, containing about $250, were taken.

He said the other man never got out of the car.

The victim said "Squirrel" has a tear drop tattoo under his left eye. He said the other man has short brown hair, a goatee and big teeth.

He was taken to the hospital while bleeding heavily from the head.

The victim was shown a photo lineup and he picked out Brandon Quarles and Wilmer Sherrard.

Police said Sherrard has a history of committing robberies and is on bond for second-degree murder in connection with an overdose death.
