Marshon Langford, 40, was shot on Larry Drive Saturday afternoon.
At approximately 2:56 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a motor vehicle crash with injuries call in the 1500 block of Pin Oak Drive.
En route to the call, officers were informed the lone occupant of the vehicle was suffering from a gunshot wound.
Upon arrival, police located the vehicle and victim in the 1500 block of Pin Oak Drive.
Hamilton County EMS transported the victim to a local hospital.
CPD Violent Crimes Bureau responded to conduct further investigation. Investigators determined the shooting occurred in the 3800 block of Larry Drive.
