The Cleveland State men’s basketball team suffered a 110-93 loss on the road at #20 Dyersburg State on Saturday evening.
Multiple Cougars, however, were able to post double-digit points in the effort. Kerry Pratt led the
team with 22 points, while also recording a two rebounds, an assist, and a steal. Jon Morgan
tied a career-high with 18 total points paired with three rebounds, three assists, and a steal.
Demonte Person posted 15 points and a team-high nine assists, while Jaquez Hicks scored 11
and led Cleveland State with six rebounds.
“We did not play smart and disciplined enough to deserve to win this game today,” said head
coach Lee Cigliano. “We ran into a team with good scorers and shooters and we weren’t ready
to meet the challenge. We must get better quickly.”
The Cougars will be back in action on Tuesday as they host Combine Academy. Tip-off is
scheduled for 6:00 ET.
