Officers with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department have arrested Dustin Jay Anglea, 31, on the charges of aggravated robbery and aggravated kidnapping.
Police said Anglea and three other people went to the victim's motel room at the Red Roof Inn on Tuesday. He said that Anglea pulled a gun and struck him on the head. Then he said Anglea and a man identified as "AV" tied him to a chair.
The victim said the two men continued to assault him while two women asked him for information about his bank accounts and home security system. The victim said Anglea cut him with a knife.
The victim told police he cooperated with their demands because he was scared for his life.
He said he woke up later and found he was cut free and was able to escape. He said things stolen included his backpack, Nintendo, his wallet with $855, cell phone and laptop.
Police arrested Anglea on Sunday after the victim identified him in a lineup.
Police said they are still searching for the other three suspects.
