Charlotte Alderson
Charlotte Alderson, 76, was born on January 2, 1944. On January 19, 2020 she was called home to join the angels.
She will forever be loved and remembered by her family and friends. She was a dedicated employee of Coca Cola Bottling Company where she retired after 20 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Geneva Feathersone; Her loving husband, Leroy Alderson; five sisters, Claudette Featherstone, Dora Brown, Clarice "Nunnie" Young, Jeanette Hughley and Delores Featherstone; three brothers, Walter "Spookie" Featherstone, James "Boy" Featherstone and Nathaniel "NIP" Featherstone.
Her loving survivors includes her daughter, Debra Bennett, her son Richard (Jessica) Bennett; four grandchildren,Quinton Bennett, Desmond Benford, Jireh Bennett and Kevin Bennett; seven great-grandchildren; sister Fannie Cartwright of Detroit; sister-in-law, Christine Feathersone of Virginia; two brothers, Sterling Featherstone and Stanely (Robbie) Featherstone and a host of other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will begin after noon on Tuesday, Jan. 28, at the funeral home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29, in the chapel.
Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
