Baylor Middle School Students Attend Youth In Government Conference

Baylor Middle School English instructor Regan Phillips led a contingent of 14 Baylor sixth, seventh, and eighth graders at the Middle School Youth in Government Conference in Chattanooga.

The event is sponsored and conducted by the Tennessee YMCA Center for Civic Engagement.

Eighth graders Valerie Davis and Mary Evelyn Pearce, seventh grader Benjamin Daniel, and sixth grader Eva Marie Bonnafous were recipients of Outstanding Delegate awards.

Others attending the conference included eighth graders Lauren Butt and Rachel Chen; seventh graders Alisha Chandra, Julia Gardner, and Luciana Hemphill; and sixth graders Amelia Buiel, Audrey Cookston, Shanina Dong, Mac Kropff, and Piper Ryan.
