Alpha Beta ESA Chapter Holds Charity Bingo Event

  • Wednesday, June 4, 2025
The Alpha Beta ESA Chapter celebrated a successful Charity Bingo event on April 5, raising thousands of dollars for the Walter E. Boehm Birth Defects Center. More than 400 people attended the event.

When doors opened at 4 p.m., ESA members greeted ticket holders who were eager to look over the silent and live auction items up or bid throughout the event, get their BBQ meal, get seated and play Bingo.

New this year were tiered categories based on the value of each donated item.
They included more than 75 donated items valued at Platinum ($500+), Gold ($250-$499), Silver ($100-$249) or Bronze (Up to $99) levels. Attendees also were able to buy tickets to win a gas grill with accessories donated by Turf Tank representative Ken Rathman, or a PlayStation 5 Console donated by Lebron Taylor of Taylor Tech IT Solutions. Door prizes were awarded throughout the night, so everyone left the event with something.

Alpha Beta would like to thank all donors and volunteers, Tommy Johnson, Elizabeth Myers, Ken Rathman, LeBron Taylor, the Walker County Civic Center, Walker County Sheriff’s Department and the public for their support of this event.
