Man Arrested For Violating Sex Offender Registry - And Other East Ridge Police Calls

Day Shift July 29: B Squad

25-007971 – 900 BLK McBrien Road – Backup Other Agency
A man was arrested for violating the sex offender registry when he attended vacation bible school where school aged children were attending. He is held on a $150,000 bond at the Hamilton County Jail.

25-007948 – 3700 BLK Ringgold Road - Alarm
Police responded for an alarm activation. On scene, it was determined an employee accidentally set it off.

25-007950 – 700 BLK Brookfield Avenue - Alarm
Police responded to an alarm activation at this residence. It was found to be accidental.

25-007955-200 BLK Frawley Road-Suspicious Person
Police were dispatched to the area for a well-dressed male walking down the street, looking at houses. The individual was gone prior to police arrival .

25-007963-1300 BLK San Hsi-Disorder
Police were dispatched to the listed residence for a verbal disorder. Police stood by while a man gathered his belongings from his now ex-girlfriend's property. He was issued a criminal trespass warning and moved along without issue. Proximity Restriction-25-000147

25-007965- 100 BLK Margareta Ln- Burglary
Police responded to the above address for a delayed burglary. The reporting party advised police that she left for work at 5:25 this morning and returned at 2:50 this afternoon to find a rock had been thrown through the window on her back door and someone entered the property and stole approximately $4500 worth of valuables. Charges pending identification of suspect.

Night Shift July 29: D Squad

25-007972- 3200 BLK Ringgold Road- Alarm Burglar
Police responded to a burglar alarm. The building appeared secure with no signs of forced entry.

25-007974- 1300 BLK Laredo Ave- Mentally Disturbed
Police responded to a mentally disturbed juvenile who continued to act unruly towards parents and run away. Incident referred to DCS for further assistance and resources.

25-007979 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Citizen Assist
Police assisted a citizen in locating and removing an Apple AirTag that had been planted on her vehicle by an unknown suspect today at a business on Signal Mountain Road. The victim was referred to Redbank PD, where the air tag first alerted.

25-007980 – 1400 BLK Mana Lane – Unknown Trouble
A disoriented elderly female requested police presence for unknown reasons. After a brief visit with the police, the woman’s son arrived to care for his mother. No incident.

25-007982-3400 Gail Dr. Apt 32-Noise Complaint
A resident reported that her upstairs neighbor was being too loud during late night hours. Police spoke with the residents who agreed to keep the noise to a minimum.

25-007983 – 4100 bLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person
A woman was issued a verbal warning to put a reflector on her bicycle after police observed her riding across the roadway.

25-007986-6500 BLK Ringgold Rd.- Suspicious Person/AOA
Police observed a male and female removing items from one vehicle and placing them into another car. Officers identified the parties and found that one had a valid arrest warrant out of Sessions Court for violation of the sex offender registry. The party was taken into custody and transported to
Hamilton County Jail without incident.
