Officers Assist Suicidal Individual - And Other Collegedale Police Calls

Officers responded to a disorder involving a weapon in the 9100 block of Leyland Drive. A subject was reportedly making suicidal statements. After speaking with officers, the individual confirmed suicidal thoughts and was transported to Parkridge North for evaluation. Firearms were secured for safekeeping.

A report of suspicious activity came in from the 8800 block of Jen Rue Lane.

A resident stated their neighbor was plotting to cause harm. Officers secured the area and found no evidence of threats or suspicious activity. EMS was requested due to concerns about the caller’s mental status, and the individual was transported voluntarily to Erlanger East for evaluation.

Officers responded to the 5600 block of Hyacinth Lane regarding a custody concern. One parent stated that the children had been taken from their grandparents' home in Georgia against a court order. Officers made contact with the other party, who returned the children voluntarily.

Officers responded to a fire alarm at a facility in the 4800 block of Colcord Drive. The alarm was found to have been triggered accidentally, and all individuals on site were safe.

A suspicious person was reported behind a bank in the 5900 block of Reagan Lane. The individual was identified and found to have no active warrants. At the request of employees, the person was trespassed from the property and left the area.

A subject was picked up from the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office on Collegedale warrants involving possession of Schedule IV drugs and driving on a revoked license. The individual was transported to Hamilton County Jail.

A well-being check was conducted in the 5600 block of Edgmon Road after a passerby reported seeing a person who appeared disoriented. Officers canvassed the area but were unable to locate anyone matching the description.

Officers were dispatched to a reported house fire in the 3800 block of Prospect Church Road. Upon arrival, no fire was located. Tri-Comm personnel were on scene.

A disorder was reported in the 5000 block of Little Debbie Parkway. The caller expressed concern for a friend who was allegedly being abused. Officers made contact with the individual in question, who stated everything was fine. A courtesy ride was provided to return home.

A fire alarm was reported in the 4800 block of Taylor Circle. Responding personnel from Tri-Comm determined that the alarm had been triggered by humidity.
