A fourth suspect has been arrested in the September, 2019 murder of 20-year-old Darrell Hill.
Chattanooga Police homicide investigators charged James Terrell Holmes-Hamilton, 28, with felony murder and especially aggravated robbery. Holmes-Hamilton is in custody at the Detroit Reentry Center in Detroit, Michigan. He will remain in custody in Michigan until he is extradited to Hamilton County.
On Sept.
12, 2019 at approximately 12:14 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a p
erson shot call in the 3900 block of Dahlia Street.
Upon arrival, police located the victim lying on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound. Hamilton County EMS pronounced the victim deceased on scene.
Police later said that, thanks to cooperation from community members and thorough investigative work by multiple Chattanooga Police Department units, three suspects had been charged in the homicide.
They were:a 16-year-old female, a 17-year-old male and a 17-year-old female. They were charged with first-degree murder and especially aggravated robbery. The 17-year-old male was also charged with unlawful possession of a firearm.
