Karen Adams Edwards, 67, of Soddy Daisy, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 27, 2020.

 

She lived locally for the past six years moving from Orville, Ohio, where she was a member of Living Water Church, to be closer to family. She was a graduate of East Anchorage High School.

 

Karen was preceded in death by her father, Waldo P. Adams.

 

Survivors include her daughter, Misty Jordan, mother, Jessie Adams, brother, Keith Adams, sister, Kim (Sam) Cash, niece, Lindsey Cash and nephew, Jake Cash. She is also survived by her precious dachshund, Max. 

 

The family would like to extend a special word of thanks to Hospice of Chattanooga and Kim Walker's Caregivers for their kind care during her last days.

 

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Sept. 1, from 1-2 p.m. at the Chattanooga Funeral

Home, North Chapel, Hixson followed by graveside service at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family requests that the Covid-19 guidelines set in place by the CDC of wearing a face mask and physical distancing be followed.

 

Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the McKamey Animal Center, 4500 North Access Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37415.
