Myrtle Cook, 66, entered into eternal rest on September 18, 2020.

She was born April 5, 1954 to the late John D. and Elizabeth Cook.

Myrtle attended Riverside High School and was employed at Little Angels Learning Academy. She was a member of Greater New Home Baptist Church. She loved playing games on her computer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Andrew and Timothy Cook.

Those to cherish her loving memory include daughters, Tonya Pitmon, Huntsville, AL and Danyell Cook; devoted companion, Edward Baugh; sisters, Ella (Robert) Scott, Laura Cook, Hilda (Walter) Lindsey, all of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren Amanda Woodard, Jemetrius Woodard, both of Huntsville, AL, Udarius Strawter, Harem, OH; sister-in-law, Diane Cook, Chattanooga; devoted stepdaughters, Elizabeth Angel and Eugina Wynn; many other relatives, nieces, nephews and friends. 

Public viewing will be from 2–6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at the funeral home. Graveside services will begin at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at Forest Hills Cemetery.

Arrangements are by John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
