Diane Mason
Diane Marie Dill Mason, 73, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021, in a local hospital.
She was a member of Faith Memorial Church where she loved serving in many capacities. She sang in the choir and the praise and worship team and taught the young girls Wednesday night class. Diane also loved decorating the church.
She worked at Faye Swafford Originals for over 20 years. When her grandson Blake was born she started DeDe Day Care. She loved to cook, and go out to eat with her friends, Jannell Lawson and her husband, Dean and Jackie Castello and her late husband, Ralph Castello.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Dill, Sr., and Edna Phillips Dill; and brothers, Harvey Dill, Jr., and Donald Dill.
Survivors include her loving husband of 55 years, Jerry Mason of Cleveland; son, Larry Lee Mason and wife, Pat of Franklin, TN; grandson, Blake Aleczander Mason and wife, Shannon of Franklin, TN; brothers, Ronnie Dill and wife, Alice, and James “Timmy” Dill and wife, Lisa; nieces and nephews: Carey Michael McCabe, Greg Dill, Stacey Dill, Clyde Dill, and Jeanette Dill; and very close friends, Jannell Lawson and husband, Dean and Jackie Castello.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 14, at Faith Memorial Church with Dr. Jim DuPree, the Reverend David Riggs and the Reverend Charles Hollifield officiating.
