The Dayton branch (congregation) of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints held a special musical sacrament meeting on Sunday, narrated by Chris Curtis, former branch president. Current branch president Joe Adamo presided.

The program included a guitar and violin duet of “O Come, All Ye Faithful” by Stan Montgomery and Ben Letham; a piano solo of “O Little Town of Bethlehem” by Darren Slade; a flute solo of “What Child is This?” by Megan Barrott; a guitar and violin duet of “Away in a Manger” by Stan Montgomery and Ben Letham; two flutes and a violin trio of “Hark! Narration included messages that testified of the birth, life, Atonement and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Savior of the World.  “We rejoice that ‘God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life’ (John 3:16).  Especially during this Christmas season, may we give thanks for the ‘good tidings of great joy’ that the gospel of Jesus Christ brings ‘to all people’ (Luke 2:10),” said president Adamo.

Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are followers of Jesus Christ.  The Dayton branch of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meets at 3372 Rhea County Highway, Dayton.
