Personality Tests Should Not Be On The Priority List

  • Friday, August 8, 2025

It seems city taxpayers are once again footing the bill, this time so Mayor Tim Kelly can surround himself with “yes” men and women in his office. If public dollars are being spent on personality tests for staff, then at the very least, the mayor’s own test results should be made public.

This is yet another example of wasteful spending. It should be a slap in the face to our police officers, firefighters, and other first responders that this kind ofexpense is being lumped into the same budget request as their much-needed pay raise.

Taxpayers deserve better priorities from City Hall.
