Mallory Ledford (Cogdell) with Songwriter Mosie Lister at NQC National Quartet Convention
Mallory Ledford Cogdell and her family will be featured during the Aug. 17 Red Back Hymnal singing at the Hullander Farm, 10962 London Lane in Apison. The free event takes place the third Sunday of each month and begins at 6 p.m. A love offering will be taken.
Officials said, "Mallory is a unique young lady who began singing at the age of two. She’s ministered in well over 400 venues that include the National Quartet Convention, Atlanta’s First Baptist Church, with Dr. Charles Stanley, and the Blue Springs Valley Gospel Singing in her home city of Cleveland."
Organizers Bill and Linda Hullander said, “Mallory is now dedicating her life to raising two boys, but continues to sing with her family.
They’ll be with us Aug, 17. Their music and Mallory’s personality will steal your heart away. Mallory turns 29 on Sept. 4, and we’ll celebrate her birthday.”
The piano artistry of Jack Clark and Sue Gray will also be featured.
The Hullander’s invite everyone to come and enjoy singing familiar hymns and gospel songs out of the Red Back Hymnal, now in its 75th year of publication.
