On the way from Park City, Utah, to Nampa (Tampa with a different first letter), Idaho, be sure to stop at a waterfall that's taller than the much more famous Niagara Falls.
At 212 feet, Shoshonee Falls is quite a sight, and it's not far off Interstate 84 West.
This is where Native Americans long gathered at a popular salmon run site on the Snake River.
And the price to get in the overlook park is good - only five bucks.
On to Nampa, where Lucy's Airbnb awaited. With all our pre-picked lodgings, you never really know what you've got until you open the box of cherries.
But after a long wind down Pheasant Lane, we immediately saw that Lucy and her husband (did not see either one during the short stay) have some very nice digs.
You park up top and walk down to the lower level. But it's not a dungeon level all bricked up as some locations, including the recent Park Plaza Resort.
It opens to a lower back deck with a nice view of one of Utah's many canals and a lake beyond that.
Inside there are foosball and pool, a full kitchen, a low-entrance child's retreat, a washer and dryer, and a very workable card table (the "Narrow Cards" no longer worked their magic for Zef and me).
The only minus is only one bathroom for the four of us, but we worked out a schedule with no problem.
On to Bend and Burns as we cross the Oregon line.
