Cleveland State Community College will host a Nursing Information Session on Tuesday, August 19, 5:30-7 p.m. in the Health and Science Center on the Cleveland campus.
Representatives from the Nursing Department will be available during the session to answer questions about the nursing program. Current and prospective students will learn about admission testing, the requirements to enter the nursing program and how to apply to the CSCC nursing program. The Associate of Applied Science Nursing degree sequence and courses will be highlighted.
Maureen Baksh-Griffin, Director of Nursing, said, “It is a privilege to lead Cleveland State’s
Nursing program. I am proud of the hard work our faculty and staff do to support students. We
work diligently to ensure that every student who is accepted into our program will walk away
with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude to be a successful graduate nurse and a highly
qualified candidate, who is not only ready to sit for boards (NCLEX-RN), but is also ready to
serve their community with high standards, confidence, and a commitment to removing obstacles
to good healthcare.”
