Adonas Yvonne Erwin Woolwine
Adonas Yvonne Erwin Woolwine, 69, passed away on December 1, 2021.
Adonas graduated from Hixson High School, class of 1970. She went on to graduate from Erlanger Baroness School of Nursing in 1973. She was retired from T.C. Thompson’s Children’s Hospital with 30 plus years of employment. She was a member of Delashmitt Road Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Fred and Veda Maddox and John and Sarah Erwin, parents Estella Maddox Erwin and John B Erwin Jr., and brother and sister-in-law, John Erwin III and Beverly.
Survivors include daughter, Lindsay; grandchildren, Makayla, Malachi, Bryson, and Charlotte; brother, Gary; Aunt, Louise Underwood Myles; Uncles, Buster Maddox and Merit Erwin; nieces, Gabrielle and Meghan; and several cousins.
Visitation will be held at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel on Tuesday, Dec. 7, from 4-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 8, at 12 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
