Aaron Dewayne “Boo” Harris, 58, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021, in a Nashville, Tennessee hospital.  

He was a 1979 graduate of Riverside High School. 

Aaron was preceded in death by his father, Aaron Moses, Sr.; mother, Sherry Gillespie; and brother, Aric Moses, Sr. 

Survivors include sons, Aaron Clark of Chattanooga and JaMichael (Myra) Clark of Los Angeles, CA; daughter, Amelia Smith of Charlotte, NC; three grandchildren; brothers, Anthony Gillespie of Los Angeles, Aaron Moses, Jr. and Ronald Harris, both of Chattanooga; sisters, Jennifer (Willis) Newby of Loganville, GA, Margaret Cochran and Ella Moses, both of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; other relatives; friends, Rodney Bailey, Bubba, and other friends. 

Aaron will lie in state on Sunday, May 2, at 10 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home with the family service to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Brother John R. Taylor, Sr. as the eulogist. 

Burial will be on Monday, May 3, at 10:30 a.m. in Greenwood Cemetery.
