Georgia Has 24 More Coronavirus Deaths And 475 New Cases

Georgia state health officials reported on Wednesday there are 24 additional deaths due to the coronavirus. The current total is 17,849.

There are 475 new cases, as that total reaches 891,502 confirmed cases of coronavirus.

Hospitalizations are at 62,877, which is an increase of 91 from Tuesday.

Here are the numbers by county:

Catoosa County: 5,777 cases, up 6; 64 deaths; 258 hospitalizations

Chattooga County: 2,251 cases, down 1; 63 deaths; 184 hospitalizations, up 1

Dade County: 1,230 cases, down 1; 13 deaths; 62 hospitalizations

Walker County: 6,638 cases, up 5; 80 deaths; 293 hospitalizations, up 1

Whitfield County: 14,931 cases, up 6; 231 deaths; 760 hospitalizations, down 1
