The Chattanooga Zoo announces Ice Cream Safari, 2021 on June 12 from 4-7 p.m.
"Come taste ice cream and sweet treats while your family enjoys a refreshing summer night at the Chattanooga Zoo," officials said.
Along with unlimited sweet treat tastings, this event will also include the opportunity to see some of the animals enjoying ice-treat enrichments. Keepers will create species-specific popsicles for the animals to try, so everyone can join in on the summer fun.
Tickets to the event will also include games and activities, as well as a take-home craft. Animal encounters will also be happening throughout the zoo, allowing families to experience wildlife up close and personal.
"If you’re thinking about attending this event, you’ll want to purchase your tickets today," officials said. "Since this event is a community favorite, tickets are selling out fast. Get your tickets before they all melt away."
You can only purchase admission for this event online at chattzoo.org prior to the event. Tickets will not be available for purchase at the gate or on the night of the event. Adult admission will cost $16, and children three-12 are $12. As always, children two and under are free. Members will receive 50 percent off the above mentioned cost, making their tickets $8 for adults, and $6 for
children. Members will still be required to purchase their tickets online, prior to the event.
