Wanda Faye Stubblefield, a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Tennessee, embarked on her heavenly journey, Friday, August 22, 2025.

She dedicated her life to her faith, family, and friends, inspiring countless lives with her unwavering devotion. Wanda delighted in family gatherings, church functions, and outdoor activities, spreading joy and love wherever she went. Her favorite pastime was visiting the Smokies, where she would enthusiastically record wildlife sightings while exploring Cades Cove with her family, creating lasting memories.

Wanda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leon Stubblefield, with whom she shared 38 years of marriage, her parents, Jessie and Beulah Johnson, and brother Larry Johnson.

She is survived by her sons, Timothy (Beth) Stubblefield and Daniel (Rhonda) Stubblefield; her grandchildren, Stephen (Amy) Stubblefield, Jacob (Elizabeth) Stubblefield, Rayven (Christopher) Fugate and Jordan Layne; and her great-granddaughters, Mackenzie, Evelyn, and Madison Stubblefield. She is also survived by siblings, Cecil (Denise) Johnson, Barbra Adam, devoted sister-in-law Diane Johnson, plus several nieces and nephews who will forever cherish the memory of their Aunt Nonnie.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Grace Point Assembly of God, 6613 Hixson Pike, Hixson, Tn. 37343.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 29, followed by a Celebration of Life service, with Pastor Terry Evans officiating, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
