Habitat For Humanity, Shop The Market Plan Special Events

Habitat for Humanity’s signature fundraiser, “Blueprint for the Future,” will take place this Fall on Oct. 2. It will be held in the First Horizon Pavilion at Finley Stadium, 1826 Reggie White Blvd., from 5:30-7:30 pm. The organization helps local families build strength and stability through housing. Habitat partners with corporations, churches, civic groups and individuals in the community. A Habitat homeowner can help build their own home along with volunteers, and they will pay a 0-Percent interest mortgage.

That evening music will be featured along with great food and drinks. Sponsorships are available at different levels ranging from $20.000, $10,000, $5,000 and $2,500.

On Saturday, Aug. 30, “Twilight Grand Market” organized by the “Shop the Market LLC. Will be held at 92 Choo Choo Ave. in the garden area of the Chattanooga Choo Choo hotel. From 5-10 p.m. there will be a mix of local artisans, farmers crafters and vendors selling what they make or grow, including art, handmade items, and jewelry. There will also be Electric Dance Music with a LGBTQ twist and food. This will be a free event.
