Michael Page of Douglasville, Ga. put his Stinger chassis race car in Southern All-Star Victory Lane Friday night at Boyd's Speedway, over 33 other Super Late Model race teams.
Chickamauga's Dale McDowell raced up to second from his eighth starting position in the 50 lap event. Jordan Rodabaugh of Soddy Daisy was seventh overall while Cleveland's John Ownbey was one position behind. Robby Mason of Hixson was twelfth and Booger Brooks of Chattanooga was seventeenth overall.
Crossville Speedway on the Cumberland Plateau saw action with Topless Outlaw Late Model series. Cory Hedgecock of Loudon, Tn. won the 40 lap feature worth $2,500. The "Chattanooga Flash" Ronnie Johnson was fifth.
The hottest racer in the country in 2021, Jonathan Davenport (#49) of Blairsville, Ga., won his 11th event with his Nutrien Ag Solution team, Friday in Batesville, Ar. worth $5,000.
Saturday's race pays $12,000, while closer to home the Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville races a $10,053 to win Spring Nationals event. Both aforementioned races can be watched live on Floracing.com by subscribers.
