Myra McBee
Our Beloved Mother, Myra Janelle Clemons McBee, 82, a lifelong resident of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, entered eternal rest on Saturday, June 26, 2021. She was welcomed into the arms of her heavenly Father.
Janelle (as she was known by her loved ones) was of the Methodist faith and a member of Holly Avenue Methodist Church of South Pittsburg, TN.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Margie Henderson, father, Tom Holt and son, Roger Reams.
Janelle is survived by her five children, Sara Jane (Phil) Walker, Denise (Lazaro) Castillo, Wayne Clemons, Diane McCallie and Lawrence (Rachel) Reams; eight grandchildren, Amy Chambers, Matt Hall, Mark Hall, Jonathan Hall, Brandon Clemons, Stefan Clemons, Lee Walker, Ana Karen Castillo; six great-grandchildren, Zach Chambers, Lisi Hall, Margie Hall, Mia Westmoreland, Kaylee Clemons and Karah Clemons, several nieces, nephews and beloved friends.
She had worked for years at South Pittsburg Knitting Mills, then Lodge Manufacturing and ended her career at Shaw Industries as a Twister Operator before retiring. Janelle loved and was devoted to her children and adored her grandchildren. She was known as being an avid shopper at Goodwill’s along with watching tv game shows. Janelle’s favorite tv shows were anything with where Steve Harvey was the host.
The family will have visitation on Tuesday, June 29, from 3-7 p.m. CT and Wednesday, June 30, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, TN.
Janelle’s funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home following visitation at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 30, with Pastor Paul Robinson officiating.
She will be laid to rest following the funeral service at Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball, TN. Pallbearers are Matt Hall, Mark Hall, Jonathan Hall, Ricky McCallie, Chuck Robbins and Greg Johnson. Honorary pallbearer is Zack Chambers.
