Lifelong Resident Of East Brainerd Worked For Many Years In The County Clerk's Office

Allie E. Worley, of Chattanooga, passed away at home on June 27, 2021, at the age of 90. 

She was a lifelong resident of the East Brainerd community and a member of the Westview Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  She was a graduate of the Edmondson College of Business and worked for many years for Bill Knowles, Hamilton County Clerk, until her retirement. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Winfield T. Worley; her parents John and Elsie Everett; and seven brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her two daughters, Donna of Cleveland, and Jan (Bill) of Chattanooga, as well as three grandchildren. 

At her request, there will be no visitation, and burial will be private in National Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
