Judy Carmichael Coleman
Judy Carmichael Coleman, 67, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, August 27, 2021, at her home in Dallas, Georgia.
Judy was born in Chattanooga, Tn., on November 3, 1953.
She was preceded in death by her father, Fielding Wells Carmichael; mother, Irene Ruth Carmichael; and brother, William Russell Carmichael.
She is survived by her daughter, Michele Eaves Griswold; son, Geoff (Christine) Coleman; and grandson, Caleb Griswold.
Judy was a graduate of Tyner High School in 1971. She worked as a legal assistant in several law firms during her career. She obtained her bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies at the age of 66 and was completing courses towards her master’s degree at the time of her passing.
Judy cherished spending time with her family and friends. She had a servant's heart and was very gifted in expressing her love for her Lord through sign language to Christian praise and worship music. She loved animals of any kind, but especially her cat, Puddin.
A Celebration of Life service will take place at God's Harvest Ministries at Glory Rising, 54 Braswell Mountain Road, Dallas, Ga., on Sept. 26, at 4 p.m.
