Romell Dawson
Romell Dawson, 72, of Chattanooga, departed this life on Saturday, January 15, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleophus and Eula Jackson; husband of 50 years, Lee Dawson; sister, Ada Pearl Patterson; brothers, Arthur, Clarence, and Thomas Jackson.
She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and family. She will be greatly missed by her devoted son, A. Twain (Deetra) Dawson; grandsons, Jaden and Andersen; brother, Herman (Sherrie) Jackson; sisters-in-law, Kenover Jackson and Shirley Jackson; brother-in-law, George Patterson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends and church members.
Romell will lie in state on Saturday, Jan. 22, at 10 a.m. at Olivet Baptist Church with the funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. with Bishop Kevin Adams, Sr. as the eulogist.
Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 24, in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
