"Take those qualities that are most base, weak, ignoble in man. Use them to divide as a means to forever control." For hundreds of years, the powerful has always used the strategy, and time after time it's worked. Today's politics use it, and the masses continue to fall for it.
We see this all the time. It's like the severely dysfunctional family on a massive scale. Where one sibling is favored over the other. But always remember, being the favored child/group in society one minute can change the next without notice. It can be fleeting, uncertain and always on shaky grounds. There's always another "favorite" being groomed, awaiting to be plucked at just the right moment to take their place and the once favorite is thrown into the dust bins of history.
That's the tragedy in society when the powerful use tribalism to divide the masses in a diverse society. Pitting one group against the other. Leaving the masses divided and forever going for one another's jugular veins and gnawing at one another's ankles and kneecaps.
