Hope Unlimited Ministry Receives Governor's Award Of Excellence

Hope Unlimited Ministry, whose founder is Dr. Rita Carr, along with seven other recipients, received the Governor’s Award of Excellence.  This is the third year that various recipients received this award. 

Hope Unlimited Ministry is one of the 12 recipients of the Governor’s Award of Excellence in Tennessee. Hope Unlimited Ministries is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit ministry organization and serves single parent families in the United States and around the world, sharing the wonderful hope and good news of Jesus Christ. The ministry began in 1996.

There are various services provided at the offices of Hope Unlimited such as counseling, group counseling, retreats, conferences, workshops, parent support groups, bible study, parent and child activities, youth support group, training, mentoring, food pantry, missions trip, Celebration of Hope, yearly Christmas event, retreats, and Lord I Surrender conferences. Many of the services are provided within the community outside of the offices of Hope Unlimited Ministries.

Dr. Carr is a licensed counselor and author. She said the books she writes are "of God’s wonderful grace relating to issues that single mothers, children and other hurting women encounter in life’s journey."
