New Caving Book Celebrates Southeastern Cave Conservancy

  • Friday, March 17, 2023

Southeastern Cave Conservancy announces the kickoff of an Indiegogo campaign to fund a new book celebrating the organization.

Long-time caver and SCCi member Dave Hughes wrote a series of essays and stories about SCCi preserves and teamed up with Huntsville caver Jennifer Pinkley to design the book.

Mr. Hughes's vision for the book is that SCCi will use it as an outreach and fundraising tool long into the future. It's a 160-page coffee table book with over 100 color photos that will appeal to not just cave explorers, but everyone interested in helping to protect our beautiful underground world, said officials.

This Indiegogo campaign gives participants an opportunity to not only get a copy of the book, but also some limited-edition swag. The campaign will run for 60 days to give everyone plenty of time to participate.
