On Thursday, March 23rd the Grace Academy Golden Eagles opened up scoring in the first inning, when Redd doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs and going to defeat the Bradley Knights, 15-0.
Austin Nelson had a dominant performance on the mound picking up his first win in Thursdays matchup versus the Bradley Knights. Nelson allowed five hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out three.
The Golden Eagle’s offense was lead by Strong Redd. Redd doubled in the first, singled in the second, singled in the third, and singled in the fourth going four for four while collecting five RBIs. Redd was named player of the game.
Wade Gaither and Walter Bianco also had themselves a great day for the Golden Eagles. Gaither went three for three with a double, a triple, and an RBI. Bianco went three for three with two RBIs and led the team in stolen bases with three.
