The Signal Mountain Middle School baseball team won its area tournament.

The Signal Mountain Middle School baseball team won the area tournament on April 30th, defeating Loftis Middle School 5-2. Signal Mountain earned the one seed in the sectional tournament on May 10th, while Loftis rebounded to defeat East Hamilton Middle School on Thursday to claim the two seed.
Coach Mark Wyatt in his first year running the program said, “This team of players from Signal Mountain are so enjoyable to coach.
They have come together to work hard everyday, and grow in their skill sets on the baseball diamond. I’m just excited to get to couch then another week. The future is bright for SM baseball.”
