CLEVELAND, Tenn. — Although both teams had 15 swimmers notch double-digit totals, the Cleveland Aqua Tigers rolled to is second victory of the Chattanooga Area Swim League's White Division victory, Monday at Tinsley Park pool.
Celebrating "Senior Night," plus honoring fifth-year head coach Trey Parris on his recent graduation from the University of Tennessee with his accounting degree, the Aqua Tigers roared past the Fairyland Flash by a 408-5-300.5 total.
Getting just 52.6% of the CAT scoring from double-digit efforts, plenty of other Tigers contributed to the winning tally.
Boone Bibee, Andrew Rutledge and Jay Eldred put up "Perfect 19s" to lead the victory.
Teddy Elliott added 17 markers for the home team, while Reed Blackmon and Jaxon Moseley collected 15 points each.
Elias Eldred helped out with 14 markers, with four — Palmer Blackmon, Caroline Kate Elrod, Santiago Eldred and Nathan Jossart — coming up with a "baker's dozen" (13) apiece.
Sophie Hughes and Maddie Patterson tallied 12 points each, while Marian Christmann and Colin Turner capped the winning effort with 11 and 10, respectively.
Fairyland (1-4) got 68.2% of its score from double-digit totals, with just one, Frances Bohner, scoring a perfect 19.
Caroline Johnson was right on her heels with 18 markers, plus Garner Fluhrer and Mille Elkins had 17 apiece.
Charlotte Koehl put up 16 points, while Harrison Barnes and Maxwell Ball collected 15 each.
Avery Ball and Vayda Crisp came away with 13 and 12 points, with Davidson Koehl, plus Carson and William Gaither added 11 apiece.
Allie Johnson, Elaine Ireland and Margaret Carr collected 10 each for the visitors.
