Getting an astronomical 73% of its scoring from 2 double-digits scorers, the Chattanooga Golf & Country Club Wavemakers improved to 3-1 in Chattanooga Area Swim League Red Division action, Monday evening.
Defending its home pool, the Wavemakers held off the Cleveland Waterdogs for the second time this summer, this time with a 408-368 tally.
Topping the Wavemakers were a trio of 19s from Cooper Brooks, Evie Ranalli and James Bentley.
Zuma Bentley and Leia Yu put 17 points apiece on the scoreboard, with Monna Yu adding 16.
A half dozen — Ronan Connellan, Cooper Webb, Zeki House, Callie Dake, Benton Grutter and Blaire Card — notched 15 points for the victors.
Chamberlain Johnson, Adalyn Turner, Cana Basham and Erik Jordan added a dozen each, while Eliana Tabibiazar, Sophia Bell and Gio Janini collected 11 apiece.
Rounding out the winning score with 10 points were Grace Cox Farrell and Lucinda Ranalli.
The Waterdogs (2-3) got 53% of their scoring from 15 swimmers, with Christian Chai and Gracelyn Dauphinais putting up "Perfect 19s."
Carter Gray helped out with 17 markers, while Lincoln Eberly notched 15.
Putting up 14 points apiece for the visitors were Zara DeBord, Brooklyn Shumway, Sam English and Harvey Eberly.
Five Waterdogs added a dozen points to the tally, including Kyle Cusion, Bryn Williams, Jackson Hicks, Ty Lauer and Zoe DeBord.
Monroe Chittum and Camden Gray rounded out the top scorers with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
