Don't Let It Happen

As Democrats’ questionable theories about Trump ending democracy will no doubt be their centerpiece in the mid-term elections, keep this in mind: “The DNC is in chaos and is Desperate for Cash” (NYTimes 6/18/25). For the Times to admit they are in turmoil and must borrow money to stay in operation, it’s really bad.

Since the very costly Harris/Walz fiasco and other losses last year blowing billions and the public ouster of activist David Hogg from leadership, the big bucks understandably just aren’t pouring in. The chairman has been stymied in his primary duty which is fund raising. A leaked call has revealed serous infighting and his loss of credibility (The Hill 6/8/25). Then recently, two high profile union leaders bailed out on them as well.

Paul Szypula, a conservative writer, summed it up on X: “This would not be happening if Democrats came up with good ideas for America. Unfortunately Democrats would rather riot, cheat in elections and pander to illegals.” Unlike the party mantra that “it’s the messaging” that’s hurting them, it’s their message-nothing positive shrouded in their dark, obsessive fixation of Trump as an “existential threat to democracy.”

FEC filings from 2016 and 2017 show Hillary’s campaign bailed out the DNC after an earlier flop. Hillary lost but the party retook the WH and Congress with the help of the Grand Biden Hoax and a complicit news media. As we begin to recover, the “end to democracy” activists like the “end to civilization” zealots of the environmental movement can rally a noisy crowd to perform and obstruct but as Paul Szypula observed, they have no new ideas.

They seem to have learned little and their billionaire donors may agree. Even the left-leaning Ninth Circuit unanimously sided with Trump in the deployment of the CA National Guard which further refutes Democrat’s tiresome dictator spin that lost them 2024. As we look to 2026, don’t let another “mostly peaceful” protest (NPR 6/10/25) or Grand Hoax slip them back into power.
