Author and Appalachian storyteller Kelle Jolly will visit And Then Books for a book signing and performance event featuring her new book "Lady Fay Ukulele" this coming Sunday at 4 p.m. The free, all-ages family event will take place at the bookstore at 400 Spring Street in Rossville.

Ms. Jolly, known for her captivating storytelling and authentic Affrilachian voice, will sign copies of her latest children's book and treat attendees to a live performance that showcases her talents as both a writer and performer, organizers said.

"Lady Fay Ukulele," a folktale retelling about friendship, forgiveness and the power of music, will be available for purchase at the event.

"This community gathering offers families, storytelling and music enthusiasts an opportunity to meet the author in person and experience the rich tradition of Appalachian storytelling," organizers said.

The event is open to the public and welcomes attendees of all ages.

Books will be available for purchase at the event or in advance, Thursday - Saturday from noon-7 p.m., during normal And Then Book Hours.
