The DIVision II-A East Region District 2 golf tournament was played Monday, September 25th, at Bear Trace. The Silverdale Seahawks boys won with a score of 321. Collegedale Academy was second with a score of 322. The Boyd-Buchanan boys were third with a score of 329.
The Silverdale boys were led by Drew Cothern with a score of 77. Boyd-Buchanan’s Gavin Greeson led all scorers with a score of 73. This was his fourth consecutive district individual tournament win.
The Silverdale, Collegedale and Boyd-Buchanan boys advance to the East Region tournament next week in Knoxville.
The Boyd-Buchanan girls won their division with a score of 152, followed by Silverdale with a score of 216.
Boyd-Buchanan’s Abigail Robinson led all girl’s scorers with a score of 75.
