The Covenant college men's golf team ended the fall season at the Alice Lloyd Invitational just down the road from Lookout Mountain at Nob North Golf Club.
The Scots played well, finishing fifth out of 12 teams and were led by Titus Cooke and Drew Silman who each shot 6-over par across the 36-hole event. As a team, Covenant was 45-over par.
Cooke shot rounds of 73 and 77 to finish tied-fifth in his final fall tournament of his career. The 1-over 73 ties the lowest he has shot in college golf across 18 holes and is his best round this season.
Just like Cooke, Silman opened with 73 before closing with 77 to place tied-fifth. The sophomore ends the fall with back-to-back top-five finishes after earning second place at the Chick-fil-A Invitational a week ago.
Wiley Hickerson had his best result of the fall with a 15-over par and tied-21st result. He opened with 81 before shooting a season-low 78 in the final round.
Freshman Ayden Cordell placed tied-24th on the leaderboard after finishing at 17-over par. Cordell had a strong finish, shooting 77 after starting the week with an 84. The 77 is his best round in college golf.
Also in the Covenant lineup was Bo Luff who finished 29th at 18-over par after posting an 82 followed by an 80.
Grant Little shots rounds of 82 and 84 to place tied-37th at 22-over par.
