BOYS

Brainerd 64, CSAS 59

Third seed Brainerd upset number two CSAS in a District 4-AA semifinal behind Ashton Munson’s 24 points. Kendrick Jones added 17 and Anthony Byrd had 11 for the Panthers. CSAS’ Alex Lowry led all scorers with 29 and teammate Chris McDonald had 15. Brainerd will face Tyner in the championship game Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m., while CSAS gets Bledsoe Co. in the consolation game at 6 p.m.

The Bears shot out to a 42-29 halftime lead in dispatching Howard in the 6-AAAA championship game. Dee Reid led Bradley with 16 points, followed by Ramireon Taylor with 15, Alex Walker with 12, Jarrius Rogers with 11 and Jackson Ary with 10. Jaylen Taylor paced the Hustlin’ Tigers with 14 and Rayshawn Howell, Manny Beene and MyQuise Thomas all had 11.
