Baylor defeated defending Alabama state champions, Fort Payne, in the Bob Sims tournament at Westminster (Ga) by a sore of 3-0.
It was 0-0 at halftime. At the 56th minute, Antonio Basan scored off a Alberth Valcarcel pass. Then at the 58th minute, Jackson Bergmann scored off a Hunter McCoy cross.
At the 67th minute, Alberth Valcarcel scored off a JR Godbehere cross.
Baylor head coach Curtis Blair remarked in an email, "We are still trying to find out who we are, but I like the way our guys are competing.
I love the part we played two games and kept a clean sheet in both."
