Samantha Ann Mavity McCutcheon, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee passed away, with loving family at her side, on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at the age of 45.

Born in Chattanooga, and a member of Madison Heights Baptist Church in Madison, Tn., Samantha leaves behind to cherish her memory, Jay McCutcheon, her loving husband of 20 years and their daughter Lily. She is also survived by her parents John and Mary Jan Mavity; her brother John Mavity, Jr., as well as, many other beloved extended family and dear friends.

Samantha was the most unique and amazing woman in our lives. Her battle with cancer was not brief and she fought hard each day to spend more time with her loved ones. Samantha worked many years as director of publications with MTA Distributors out of Whites Creek, Tn. She was an excellent cook, great artist, fantastic mom, and an incredible wife. Dedicated to her family, Samantha never missed an opportunity to create a new memory with them. We will dearly miss "Sam" and treasure the precious memories we made with her.

The McCutcheon family has entrusted Eastland Funeral Home & Cremation Service who are honored to serve the family during this very difficult time.

Cremation will occur and a memorial service will be planned at a later date.
