Chattanooga City High School Graduate And U.S. Air Force Veteran

Richard Doyle Kincer, 82, husband to Judith “Judy” Ann McElhaney Kincer for 62 years, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.

Mr. Kincer was born in Chattanooga, to the late Clarence Wilson Kincer and Bertie McKinney Kincer. Richard was a graduate of Chattanooga City High School and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He retired from Bay Pines Veterans Hospital after more than 40 years of service.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two brothers, Roy Kincer and Bill Kincer; two sisters-in-law, Joy Kincer and Laura Kincer; a host of loving niece and nephews; and many beloved friends. He was predeceased by two brothers, Paul Kincer and Jack Kincer; and a sister, Nola Lee Lawson.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27, in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
