Car Seen On Video For Multiple Burglaries - And Other East Ridge Police Calls

Officers were dispatched to the above address regarding four different burglar alarms. After arrival, the police noticed the front door opened. The building was secured, and the on-call detective was notified and responded. Through surveillance cameras on scene, police were able to determine that a Grey Infinity with a back passenger window duct-taped, bearing Massachusetts plates was seen on video breaking into the location listed above.
The vehicle was observed leaving the scene. Through the LPR system officers were able to track the vehicle all the way to Mack Smith Rd. This vehicle was also used in a burglary on Broad Street approximately 15 minutes prior. A County wide BOLO was sent out.

 

 
Police were dispatched for a front door alarm motion. On scene, it was found it was an accidental activation.

Police responded for found property. The manager advised a brown wallet was found in the store over the weekend. Hamilton County Dispatch was able to contact the owner through information attached to his Georgia identification. The party later retrieved his wallet from the police department.

A concerned citizen reported the rear door of this residence had been left open since the previous evening. Officers conducted a search of the residence and, finding no one inside, secured the door. Police later spoke with the resident who advised that the door malfunctions at times.

Store management called in to report that a party had brought in an altered/ fictitious check for $5,300.00. The store attendant gave the suspect $5,300.00 in cash. The check then came back as Altered/ Fictitious. Warrants for Forgery and theft over $2,500.00 will be sought.

The resident stated that two packages were stolen from her mailbox and her front porch. She stated that the contents of both packages were valued at $60. Currently, there is no suspect information.

Officers were dispatched to this location after the reporting party stated that their friend's door was open and unlocked. Officers cleared the house and found it unoccupied. Neither the reporting party nor officers were able to contact the homeowner.

The resident at the above address wanted assistance in filing for a divorce. Police informed the party that he would need to contact a divorce attorney.

A 911 caller reported seeing children left unattended in a maroon Jeep parked at the store. Police were unable to investigate the matter because the vehicle and its occupants were gone upon arrival.

Suspicious sounds were reported behind a duplex. The noise was identified as a man who was there to retrieve his personal belongings. He retrieved his belongings and was asked not to return by the resident.

A homeless male was attacked on the shoulder of the exit 1 on ramp to I-75 north. The victim sustained minor bruises and denied EMS. The assailant was a male with face tattoos. Police searched the area but did not immediately locate the suspect.
