25-005279 – 3600 BLK Helen Lane Apt– Disorder
Officers responded to the above address for a domestic disorder involving two parties. The man alleged the woman attempted to strike him with a vehicle, prompting him to break the rear passenger window with a jack stand handle. He claimed no children were in the vehicle. The woman was uncooperative, later claiming the children were present and alleged prior domestic issues and property damage, though she declined to provide formal statements.
An inspection of the vehicle revealed glass throughout the backseat and no indication of recent occupants. The parties were separated, with one transported to another location.

25-005180 – 3300 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity
A silver sedan pulled up to an officer and the passenger jumped out screaming about a vehicle that blew a train horn in the tunnel. The male stated the horn caused his wife to run against the wall of the tunnel. No damage was observed on the vehicle. The male got back in the vehicle and the car pulled off. The officer observed the vehicle on the side of the road across from East Ridge Commons. The same male was standing pointing out a Grey Toyota Tundra parked at the barber shop. The driver of the Tundra stated he was in the tunnel and did not have a train horn. He hit his horn to prove that it was a standard horn. The other male involved began yelling and cursing from across the street. He was advised to return to his car. The Tundra driver eventually did admit he had a train horn and activated it in the tunnel out of fun. He was advised of the issues with his actions and was allowed to return to his haircut. The other vehicle left the scene and could not be located for more information.
25-005181 – 100 BLK Arnold Road – Theft
The reporting party reported she was scammed after she paid an old Facebook friend $800.00 for a refrigerator, but the friend never followed through in delivering the fridge. She suspected her friend’s account had been hacked after the seller continued asking her to send money to different phone numbers using Apple Cash. Pending identification of the suspect, the victim wished to prosecute for Theft of Property.
25-005182 – 900 BLK S. Seminole Drive– Robbery of a Person/Unfounded
A party called in and reported he was robbed at gunpoint after he showed up an apartment to meet a woman he met on Facebook. The reporting party declined to speak with police, and officers were unsuccessful in contacting anyone inside the apartment. He did tell dispatchers that the “robber” took a knife and hatchet he was carrying away from him when he tried to meet his new romantic interest, leading responding officers to question the caller’s perception of being the victim.
25-005184 – 3500 BLK Ringgold Road - Harassment
Police were called to the business after a customer called the shop twice this morning upset that her tires were repossessed overnight. The employee said the woman and her mother picked up the wheels without incident after the initial calls were placed. The employees were advised to contact police if the woman returns or the calls continue.
25-005179-1600 BLK Waterhouse St.- Check for Hazard
Police were dispatched to Waterhouse and State Line Road for a stop sign that had been hit. The Street department was notified.
25-005183- North Smith St/Ringgold Rd.- Suspicious Vehicle
Police were dispatched to the area on reports of a person driving down the street taking pictures of homes. The vehicle was not located upon police arrival.
25-005189-1500 BLK Burns Ave- Theft
Police responded to this address and spoke with the reporting party who advised someone had siphoned gas out of his truck and stole 120 pills of hydrocodone from his mailbox. He was unable to provide a description of the suspect but did advise there is a high volume of homeless traffic that passes his home. His home was added to the watch list #25-000012
25-005188 – 4300 BLK Bennett Road - Theft
Police spoke with an employee of East Ridge High School who stated that one of their students had his bike stolen around 9:10 by an unknown male. The party was seen on CCTV cameras grabbing the bike and proceeding to ride the bike northbound on Tombras Avenue. Police later spoke with the victim who stated the bike was worth approximately $150.00 and was described as a black bike with green brake lines, a gear shifter on the right hand, aggressive tread on the tires, and no shocks. No suspect has been identified at this time.
25-005186 – 2000 BLK Prigmore Road – Burglary/Civil Issue
Police spoke with a party who reported that his house was burglarized sometime between May 11 and May 15. He initially stated that he returned home on May 15 but did not notice anything unusual because he didn’t go inside. He later changed his story, saying he did enter the home but chose not to contact the police at the time. Several of Goss’s statements conflicted with each other, leading to multiple discrepancies. As a result, police are not currently pursuing the case, considering it a civil matter between the man and his ex-girlfriend.

25-005197 – 1500 BLK Tombras Avenue – Disorder
A woman claimed a man was taking pictures of her juvenile son at the playground. Police approached the man and identified him. With his consent, officers viewed his phone and found no pictures of children. He also denied any wrongdoing. Approximately 25 minutes later, Police responded back to the area after the woman started yelling at the man. Officers spoke with her a second time concerning the incident and her behavior. Police found no evidence of a crime and the party left the park to distance himself from the woman.
25-005198 – 800 BLK S. Germantown Road – Overdose / Suspicious Activity
Police responded to a possible overdose and located a man unconscious in the residence. Officers provided immediate care until Fire and EMS personnel arrived on scene.
25-005200 – 3900 BLK N. Mission Oaks Drive – Domestic Disorder –
A woman reported her young teenage son hit his brother and threw an object in anger. Police assisted her in de-escalating the situation with her child. Officers did not observe any injuries, and no arrests were made due to the ages of the juveniles and nature of the incident. All individuals agreed to separate for the evening.
25-005202 – 3725 Fountain Avenue, Apt 58 – Miscellaneous Complaint
A party, later found to be the same party from the playground, called the 911 Dispatch Center to complain about Police shining lights into her apartment. She also reported that officers were looking at her apartment and pointing at her. The Patrol Supervisor determined that two Police units had responded to an unrelated Disorder Prevention in another apartment and had parked near her building. In addition, the responding Police units did not realize the woman even lived in that apartment and there was no intent to harass her.
25-005203 – 1300 BLK John Ross Road – Domestic Disorder
Police responded to a disorder between a juvenile and his parents in their residence. Officers determined a verbal argument started when the juvenile’s mother cleaned his room. Police assisted in de-escalating the situation and no evidence of an assault was found.
25-005207 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Narcotics Violation / Arrest
Police responded to the report of a Suspicious Person at the inn. Police located a man behind the business and determined he was highly intoxicated. During a search incident to arrest, officers located drug paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine. He was arrested and charged him with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Public Intoxication, and Resisting Stop, Frisk, Halt.
25-005209 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Arrest
Following a traffic stop, a woman was taken into custody and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine for Resale and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Another person in the vehicle was taken into custody for two active arrest warrants through the Hamilton County Sessions Court. The charges on the warrants were Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Reckless Endangerment.
25-005210 – 500 BLK S Moore Road – Assist Other Agency
The Chattanooga Police Department reported a male fled on foot from a traffic stop on S. Moore Road. A few minutes later, ERPD officers located an individual matching the suspect’s description running near S. Moore Road and South Terrace. The suspect spotted Police and ran through several yards into a wooded area. ERPD and CPD units established a perimeter in the area, but the suspect was not located.
25-005220 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Unconscious Person
Officers responded on report of a female slumped over in her vehicle. Officers found that the female was simply playing on her phone.
25-005212 – 100 BLK Cecil Lane – Disorder
Police responded to a disorder after a woman reported her sister-in-law indulged, in excess, for her 21st birthday. The two ladies got into an altercation due to the intoxicated woman’s increased volume level and the resident’s concern it could wake up her 6-month-old baby. The party goer alleged that her sister had hit her in the head with no cause, however, the sister alleged that she charged her and was in fear for her safety and defended herself. Boyfriends for each of the women separated them. HCEMS evaluated the intoxicated party who refused to be transported to the hospital. She and her boyfriend agreed to leave for the day to allow her to sober up before returning to the apartment.
25-005223 – 1400 BLK John Ross Road - Well-Being Check
Police spoke with a couple regarding an APS referral received from their bank. They explained that they received a Facebook message from a party on May 14 alerting him he won $10,000. The man gave the scammer his SSN and TN OLN during the text message exchange. As of May 17 there have been no financial repercussions for disclosing his personal information.
No Complaint Number – 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway - Traffic Stop / Warrant Service
Police initiated a traffic stop in front of the arena. The driver was found to have an active warrant for criminal trespassing out of Sessions Court. He was taken into custody and transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.
25-005214-6700 BLK Ringgold rd.- Disorder/Arrest
Police responded to the gas station on reports of a disorder. While in route, an officer observed a male who matched the description given by dispatch walking west in the 6600 block of Ringgold Rd. Police attempted to stop him, however, the male fled from police on foot. The man ran through several lots and was eventually caught. Police spoke with the male who stated he saw and heard police command him to stop, however, he was scared and continued to flee. Officers spoke with the man’s girlfriend who advised he had taken her car keys. He admitted he took the keys and threw them somewhere on Ringgold Road. Officers were unable to locate the keys. The suspect was taken into custody and charged with evading arrest and theft of property.
Night Shift May 17: C Team
25-005242 – 5000 BLK South Terrace – Suspicious Activity / Evading / Assist Other Agency
Several East Ridge Police units responded to a verbal disorder at the theater and the issue was quickly resolved. While still on scene, Police observed a silver sedan come to a sudden stop on I-24 Eastbound. Five males then exited the vehicle with firearms and began running toward the theater area. Officers immediately responded to the activity and detained three of the male subjects. The two remaining individuals ran from Police and entered the wooded area behind the theater. East Ridge Police units established a perimeter and requested assistance from other agencies. Several Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) units and Hamilton County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) Deputies responded to assist with the incident.
A CPD K9 unit and an HSCO Drone Team also responded to the location. A Police K9 led officers to the two remaining suspects in the wooded area who were both taken into custody. During the incident, CPD investigators determined the vehicle, and the five males, were involved in a homicide that occurred a few minutes earlier in Chattanooga. CPD took custody of the suspects along with three firearms and the silver sedan. ERPD will also seek arrest warrants and juvenile attachments for criminal actions that occurred in the City of East Ridge. The charges in East Ridge will include Disorderly Conduct, Evading, Illegal Possession of a Firearm, and Destruction of Evidence. The CPD investigation is on-going.
25-005232 – 100 BLK Kingwood Drive – Property Damage
A caller reported a red sports car backed into his mailbox then fled the scene. The suspect vehicle had a rear spoiler and was operated by an unknown male. Police were unable to locate the suspect vehicle and driver.
25-005240 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Intoxicated Person/Arrest
Police responded to the report of an injured, intoxicated male at the hotel. Officers located the subject, but he fled on foot and did not comply with Police instructions. Police caught up to the suspect and identified him. It was also found that the hotel and the adjacent inn both had issues with his behavior. He was taken in custody and charged with Public Intoxication, Evading, and Disorderly Conduct.
25-005247 – 3600 BLK Helen Lane – Domestic Disorder
HCSO Deputies and ERPD Officers responded to a Domestic Disorder at this residence. A woman advised that she and her boyfriend had a mutual fight at a restaurant in Chattanooga. The couple returned home but she did not want him there. In response, he had pushed his way into their home but left the area when she called for Police. At this time, the incident is pending further investigation, and no charges have been filed. CPD has been notified of the incident in Chattanooga.
25-005251 – 700 BLK Summit Avenue – Domestic Assault
Officers responded to the hospital after a woman reported that her ex-boyfriend shoved her on the ground, drug her by the hair, and repeatedly kicked her in the legs and stomach. She had visible injuries consistent with her allegations. A warrant for Domestic Assault will be sought.
25-005252 – 3600 BLK Bennett Road – Domestic Disorder
A man notified officers that his angry ex-girlfriend kept circling his residence in her vehicle. The suspect left prior to police arrival, and Pratt did not wish to make a report.

Police observed a male sleeping in vehicle at the motel. The party advised he had just gotten off work and fell asleep. He also stated he was waiting for check in at the hotel The party was checked for warrants and sent on his way. FI#000074

Police were dispatched to storage facility on reports of a U-Haul truck that hit the roof to one of the units. Officers spoke with the manager who directed police to the culprits. Police spoke with the parties who advised the turn was tight and were unable to make the turn without hitting the roof.

Following a traffic stop, a man was taken into custody for an active warrant through Hamilton County Sessions Court. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
25-005267 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road, Front Office – Order of Protection Violation
A party reported unwanted text messages from her ex-boyfriend. Police found that she had a temporary protection order against him through a jurisdiction in the State of New York. Officers also found the number sending the text messages was not associated with the man. Additional investigation will be required before an arrest warrant can be obtained.
25-005274 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service
While in custody at the Hamilton County Jail, a man was served an Alias Capias through the City of East Ridge. The original charge on the capias warrant was Driving on a Suspended License.
25-005275 – 1100 BLK John Ross Road – Motor Vehicle Crash / Property Damage
While on patrol, Police located a damaged mailbox and observed evidence of a motor vehicle crash. Officers checked the area and found a white Kia Rio with frontend damage at a church on Blocker Lane. The Kia Rio was unoccupied, and Police did not locate the driver. Warrants are pending the identification of the driver for the charges of Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Vandalism.
25-005273 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Assist Other Agency / Stolen Vehicle Recovery
East Ridge Police assisted Catoosa County Deputies with a stolen vehicle investigation on Key West Ave in Rossville, GA. Following a disorder at the residence, a woman had stolen a 2020 green Dodge Challenger. ERPD checked LPR data and found the vehicle drove into Chattanooga after the theft. ERPD, HCSO, and CPD units checked known locations for suspect. The Dodge Challenger was eventually located by CPD and the suspect was found near the vehicle. She was taken into custody, and the vehicle owner was notified, reference CPD 25-042260.
25-005293 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Motor Vehicle Collision – Arrest
Police responded to a crash where a driver fled the scene. A short time later, officers located the vehicle disabled on Ealy Road and contacted a subject who was attempting to distance themselves from the vehicle. After initially being provided with the wrong information by the subject, police later determined the party’s connection to the vehicle, and they were placed in custody. The subject was transported and charged with Driving Without a License, Leaving the Scene of an Accident Involving Property Damage, and Criminal Impersonation.
25-005298 – 1100 BLK Spring Creek Road– Lost Child
A juvenile boarded a school bus when they were supposed to remain at school. According to the child no one was home at their residence and all the doors were locked, so the child walked to a random residence and knocked on the door and asked for help. The resident contacted police and, while police were attempting to find contact information for the juvenile, the mother of the party called dispatch wanting to report the child missing. The child was then taken home and released to their mother.

25-005305 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop
A man was stopped for expired tags. He abandoned his vehicle and fled on foot, evading police near Mimbro Lane. Dispatchers later advised he had a warrant for statutory rape. New warrants are being submitted for Evading Arrest, Driving without a License, Driving without Insurance, and an Expired Registration Violation.
25-005303-1600 BLK Castleberry Ave-Domestic Disorder
Police received a call at the listed address about two people arguing and being disrespectful to other people in the house. Officers located one of the parties walking down the road with a small child. The other party later returned to speak with police. All parties involved agreed to sperate for the evening.
25-005306-1400 BLK St. Thomas St. room 118-Unconcious Person
Police responded to the listed address for a party that was reportedly unconscious and turning blue. It was determined the party was overdosing on suspected fentanyl. ERFD began medical treatment until EMS arrived on scene to transport the party to the hospital.
